Daily itinerary
DAY 1: NAIROBI
Upon your arrival at the airport, our friendly team will be there to welcome you and ensure a smooth transition. They will be readily available to assist you with any necessary procedures and help with your luggage. From there, you will be transported to the Tamarind Tree Hotel, a wonderful accommodation known for its exceptional comfort and attentive service.
During your stay at the Tamarind Tree Hotel, you can relax and unwind, preparing yourself for the exciting experiences that lie ahead on your safari journey. The hotel provides a tranquil atmosphere and comfortable amenities, ensuring a restful night's sleep before the adventures to come.
DAY 2: SELENKAY CONSERVANCY
Early breakfast then transfer to Nairobi’s Wilson (domestic) airport for the short (40 minutes) early morning flight to Selenkay / Amboseli. Met at the airstrip and transfer to the nearby Porini Amboseli Camp, with a game drive en route, to stay 3 nights. After lunch you will have an escorted walk to a nearby Maasai village to gain an insight into the way of life of the communities living outside the Selenkay Conservancy. You will then drive back into the Selenkay Conservancy. All the big cats have been seen in the Conservancy as well as elephants and a wide range of species including large numbers of giraffes, zebra, and antelopes. There are also less common animals to be seen such as the long-necked gerenuk gazelle, lesser kudu and African wildcat. Enjoy a sundowner at a scenic spot overlooking Kilimanjaro then continue with a night game drive and return to camp for dinner and overnight.
DAY 3: SELENKAY CONSERVANCY
Awake to the noisy calls of the birds. After an early breakfast, we drive through the bush on our private track into Amboseli National Park, for a full morning of game viewing. Amboseli National Park is best known for HUGE HERDS of ELEPHANTS. On a clear day, views of Mt. Kilimanjaro can be amazing! Overall excellent wildlife viewing and great bird viewing. Following a picnic lunch in the park, we return to camp later in the afternoon. In the evening you will go on a game drive in Selenkay Conservancy, stopping for a sundowner at a scenic viewpoint, followed by a night game drive. Return to camp for dinner and overnight.
DAY 4: SELENKAY CONSERVANCY

DAY 5: OL PEJETA CONSERVANCY
Early breakfast and then drive through the Conservancy to the airstrip for the flight to Wilson Airport, connecting onto the morning flight to Nanyuki. You will be met at the airstrip and transferred to Porini Rhino Camp, located in the Ol Pejeta Conservancy, in the foothills of Mount Kenya. All the BIG FIVE live in this area! There is also the SPECIAL FIVE: Reticulated Giraffe, Grevys Zebra, Somali Ostrick, Gerenuk, and Oryx.Lunch and afternoon tea in camp and then head off on a game drive with your driver-guide in the camp’s 4×4 safari vehicle to explore the Ol Pejeta Conservancy. Return to Porini Rhino Camp for dinner and overnight.
DAY 6: OL PEJETA CONSERVANCY
Full day in Ol Pejeta with game drives and walking activities from camp. Other activities (optional and at a supplement) include a visit to the Endangered Species Boma which houses the World’s last two remaining Northern White Rhino and Lion Tracking. Dinner and overnight at Porini Rhino Camp.
DAY 7: OL PEJETA CONSERVANCY
Morning and evening game drive in the Ol Pejeta Conservancy.
DAY 8: OL KINYEI CONSERVANCY
Start your day with an exhilarating early morning game drive, followed by a delightful breakfast. Afterward, you will be transferred to the airstrip to catch your flight to the iconic Masai Mara. Upon arrival, our team will be there to greet you and transfer you to the enchanting Porini Mara Camp, where you will be treated to a delicious lunch. This area is becoming well known for Cheetah viewing. Also, it's one of the best locations on ALL of Africa for lions. Overall amazing wildlife viewing.
In the afternoon, get ready for an unforgettable game drive, immersing yourself in the incredible wildlife of the Ol Kinyei Conservancy. As the day progresses, enjoy a refreshing sundowner at a picturesque location, taking in the breathtaking scenery. As darkness descends, embark on a thrilling night game drive equipped with spotlights, allowing you to search for elusive nocturnal creatures, including the magnificent leopards that reside in the Ol Kinyei Conservancy. After an exhilarating experience, return to the camp for a sumptuous dinner. Rest and rejuvenate overnight at Porini Mara Camp, surrounded by the enchanting sounds of the wilderness.
DAY 9: OL KINYEI CONSERVANCY
Prepare yourself for an amazing day as you have game drives in the Ol Kinyei and Naboisho Conservancies.
DAY 10: OL KINYEI CONSERVANCY
Embark on thrilling morning and afternoon game drives in the captivating Ol Kinyei and Naboisho Conservancies. Start your day with an morning game drive, setting out in search of the incredible wildlife that calls these conservancies home. Witness the breathtaking landscapes, encounter diverse species, and immerse yourself in the wonders of the African wilderness.
After a day filled with excitement and exploration, indulge in an afternoon game drive, when the animals become more active and the landscape transforms with the golden hues of sunset. Experience the thrill of spotting elusive predators, graceful herds of herbivores, and an abundance of unique wildlife species that thrive in these conservancies.
Throughout both game drives, our knowledgeable guides will share their expertise, providing insightful information about the flora and fauna, as well as conservation efforts in the area. Prepare to be captivated by the beauty and diversity of the Ol Kinyei and Naboisho Conservancies as you create unforgettable memories during your safari adventure..
DAY 11: return to nairobi/home
Early morning game drive in the conservancy, immersing yourself in the captivating wildlife and stunning landscapes. After an exciting adventure, return to the camp for a delicious breakfast, where you can relish in the flavors of the morning.
Following breakfast, a mid-morning transfer will be arranged to the airstrip, where you will catch the 11:30 am flight back to Nairobi's Wilson Airport. The flight duration will provide you with an opportunity to reminisce about the incredible experiences you've had during your safari.
Upon arrival at Wilson Airport around 1:00 pm, our team will be there to greet you and facilitate a smooth transfer to Nairobi's international airport. If you have a later flight, we are happy to offer additional arrangements, such as a dayroom or the option to explore the city with a car and driver. This allows you the flexibility to make the most of your remaining time in Nairobi and discover some of its attractions.
