  • Pench National Park

First, journey to Nepal, in search of the playful and adorable red panda, before heading to India and exploring three of the best National Parks for bengal tiger sightings. Each park offers unique ecosystems and distinct photographic opportunities. Kanha National Park, with its serene river valleys and abundant wildlife, offers excellent chances to photograph predators and herbivores alike. Pench National Park, the inspiration behind Rudyard Kipling’s famous Jungle Book, boasts picturesque landscapes of sal and bamboo forests, home to wild dogs, spotted deer, and thriving tiger populations. Tadoba-Andhari Tiger Reserve is known for its high density of tigers and opportunities to witness intense predator-prey dynamics amidst rugged wilderness.

  • Safaris at Tadoba, Pench and Kanha as per itinerary by exclusive jeeps along with English speaking naturalist.

  • Camera fee – as of today’s date, cameras are free in Singalila, Kanha & Pench National Parks but applicable in Tadoba. Price includes 1 camera fee per head at Tadoba.

  • One travelling naturalist starting from Tadoba to Kanha (not for Red Panda); more naturalists will be provided from respective lodge teams.

  • Domestic flights Delhi-Bagdogra-Delhi-X-Delhi- Nagpur-X-Jabalpur-Delhi in economy class (check-in baggage 15 kgs / cabin baggage 07 kgs). Excess baggage for up to 10 kg can be added @ approx. USD 300-330 per head

Daily itinerary

Day 1 (february 28)

Arrive at Delhi International Airport (DEL) anytime in the morning or afternoon. We will have a welcome dinner to finally meet in person and stay overnight.

Day 2 (March 1)

Fly to Bagdogra early in the morning; drive to Jaubari (Singalila NP -Nepal) - about a 5-hour journey. Immigration is done at Kakarbhitta border - about 30 minutes from Bagdogra, and the process may take another 30-45 minutes. Check in to lodging.

Day 3-6 (march 2-5)

Red panda and birding expeditions.

Day 7 (March 6)

Transfer back to Bagdogra airport for flight to Delhi. Transfer to hotel.

Day 8 (March 7)

Enjoy Old & New Delhi city tour

Day 9 (March 8)

Fly to Nagpur early morning; drive to Tadoba (about 3 hours); day at leisure

Day 10-12 (March 9-11)

Morning and afternoon jeep safaris in Tadoba.

Day 13 (March 12)

Early breakfast & drive to Pench (about 5 hours); evening private photo review session / hide session

Day 14-15 (March 13-14)

Morning and afternoon jeep safaris in Pench.

Day 16 (March 15)

Post breakfast, drive to Kanha (about 4 hours); afternoon jeep safari

day 17 (march 16)

Morning and afternoon jeep safaris

Morning jeep safari; afternoon at leisure / photo review session (core remains closed on Wed afternoons)

day 19 (march 18)

Post breakfast, transfer to Jabalpur (about 4 hours) for flight to Delhi. Transfer to airport hotel for day use (till 10 PM).

Based out of her hometown, Cochrane, Alberta Jacquie Matechuk is a Canon Ambassador, has been recognized as Nature Photographer of the Year, 2024 gold medallist at the World Photographic Cup, is an internationally published artist, presenter, certified bear guide and photographic coach. Her journey is as unique, and passion-filled as her perspective on life and her ability to capture those jaw-dropping, heart-warming moments, that truly give her subject a voice.

Today, Jacquie has further embraced the challenge to see & share the beauty in this world by teaming up with organizations such as Canadian Conservation Photographers Collective, the Jane Goodall Institute, Polar Bears International, Canadian Geographic, as well Bear Conservation NGO’s based out of Ecuador and Peru. And now she looks to share her love & respect for wildlife and their environments with creators from all over the globe. Creating opportunities to help her fellow creatives improve and embrace their passion for life behind the lens, setting their minds free and leaving their hearts full.
